Always Look Up!

Lessons learned from my kitties are always fun. The newest one? Focus on the moment!

The three kitties on the windowsill are not always the best of friends. In fact, they spend some time each day staying out of each other's way and verbally telling each other to do just that when they cross paths. However, with the open window, the sound of the wind and the chirping birds who were flying by at the moment, all bets were off! In just a moment, the three cats jumped up on the window and focused intently on the passing birds, watching them carefully.  Besides getting a good laugh and a perfect picture, I realized that in the moment of true desire (wanting those birds), the 3 kitties dropped all pretenses, negative feelings and  rules, and sat together while individually focused on their single moment of desire. Lesson learned!
