EASEL

Here at your easel you can let loose your inner Picasso and see where your imagination takes you.  You can use the pre-set shapes to create a        mandala or you can paint free form on a blank canvas.  Select shape, color, brush size and opacity and you’re ready to go.

  • To paint a mandala, choose a shape. To paint a picture, choose the “blank” option.
Choose a color on the spectrum that you want and click and drag the cursor/paintbrush to paint.
  • To change how transparent your painting is, slide the opacity bar. If you move the bar to the left, it will get more transparent and clear. If you drag the opacity bar to the right, the painting gets more opaque.
  • You can also change the thickness of your brush stroke by sliding the “brush bar” to the right, for thicker lines, or to the left, for thinner brush strokes.
  • To undo your last brush stroke, click on “undo”.
  • To start a new painting, click on “new painting.”
  • Please note that when you leave this page, your work will not be saved.

           .Save/Print
You can capture the screen and save your artwork using the following steps.
I'm using a PC:

  • Make sure the canvas is fully visible on the screen.
  • Press the Print Screen (PrtScn or PrtSc) key on the keyboard (it's usually located next to the F12 key).
  • Run a paint program. (For example, Windows has a paint program called Windows Paint. It is available in Start->Programs->Accessories->Paint.)
  • Within the paint program, paste the picture, by selecting Edit->Paste.
  • Within the paint program, you can crop and then print, or save (File->SaveAs) the picture as a jpeg file.

I'm using a Mac:

  • Make sure the canvas is fully visible on the screen.
  • Press SHIFT, COMMAND, and 3 at the same time. (e.g., first hold down the SHIFT and COMMAND keys, then press the 3 key). This will save the screen into a PNG file.
  • Depending on the version of your Mac OS, the PNG file may be saved in the desktop or on the top folder of the hard drive.
  • Look for a file named PICTURE(n) (where n is a number and the last screen capture has the largest n).
  • Open the PNG file using a paint program or by double clicking it.
  • Within the paint program, you can crop and then print, or save the picture as a jpeg file.
